We are advising the new Food Strategy being prepared by government. We are advocating a mission-orientated approach to (1) community food resilience, and (2) diversifying food supply. We are working with Professors Tim Lang and Terry Marsden, and with Simon Wright, Chair of the Food Strategy Development Group. We are planning a high-level stakeholder meeting in autumn 2026 to discuss the immediate launch of first food security missions.
We are organising a roundtable with Bevan Foundation and ClwydAlyn Housing Association on securing food for low-income households in response to constant and extreme food price inflation.
